Senior Technical Manager – Temenos / T24

Responsibilities

• Understand technical solution designs across Temenos platforms (Temenos / TAP / Infinity) and actively contribute to functional and solution discussions.
• Lead end-to-end functional implementation for complex or custom-built Temenos solutions.
• Ensure adherence to organisational development standards and best practices in alignment with Temenos application frameworks.
• Perform impact assessments for all Temenos application changes and identify downstream system implications.
• Validate that integration designs follow correct patterns, protocols, and data formats.
• Ensure technical designs are scalable, reliable, resilient, and free from platform debt or obsolete technologies.
• Maintain and update project documentation, including JIRA items, Confluence pages, unit test plans, code review reports, Sonar scan results, vulnerability assessments, and operational handover documents.
• Escalate items requiring attention from Security, IT Risk, or Architecture to the Application Platform Lead.
• Collaborate closely with Business Engineers, System Architects, Project Managers, and Test Management teams.
• Continuously share updated functional and technical concepts across the organisation with the team.
• Investigate and resolve production issues (RTB) to ensure a stable and reliable production environment; remain calm and effective in crisis situations.
• Participate in review meetings and provide clear updates on project progress.
• Manage development resources, allocate workloads, and oversee squad deliverables.
• Drive and review technical and architectural designs, ensuring compliance with architectural principles and challenging outdated approaches where necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 9–12 years of functional and technical experience in Temenos application platforms.
• Strong experience in T24 and TAFJ R23 or higher, ideally in multi-company and multi-application server environments.
• Deep understanding of private banking modules and the Temenos Application Services framework to design robust and scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SWIFT messaging, integration patterns, and STP processes.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into efficient, fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
• Experience with Temenos Integration & Interaction frameworks, including streaming capabilities.
• Solid understanding of application deployment architecture and infrastructure.

Technical Skills

• Temenos R23+, TAFJ R23+, and TAP.
• Multi-company and multi-application-server configurations.
• T24 development on cloud-based environments.
• Temenos Unit Test Framework.
• Integration tools and frameworks, including Outbox Event Streaming, IRIS Interaction Framework, MQ, and JBoss.
