About the Role

We are currently looking for a Senior Tax Analyst, APAC to join our tax team in Singapore, reporting directly to the Tax Director, APAC. The role is required to work closely with our global tax teams based in the US and Netherlands and have a close partnership with other finance teams, internal key business partners as well as external tax agents/authorities. In addition, the role requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Support and work closely with finance/custodian teams on tax compliance matters e.g. review tax computations/returns, support tax audits/investigations, and implement/review tax controls, policies, and processes.
  • Work in partnership with cross functional teams (Commercial, Accounting, Legal, Treasury, Supply Chain, Customs, etc.) for development and implementation of key strategic business initiatives, routes to market, reorganizations, etc. while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws/regulations and global tax policies.
  • Research and monitor tax legislation changes (e.g. global minimum tax) and assess the implications to the Group.
  • Provide direct tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing advisory on complex tax issues/topics to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and support local and global tax projects.
  • Support transfer pricing monitoring, compliance and review of documentation.
  • Review quarterly/yearly global tax reporting packages and questionnaires.
  • Monitor external tax consultants spent periodically.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in finance, tax or a related field. Accredited Tax Advisor is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant tax experience, with at least 3 years in a Big Four accounting firm and 2 years in a global corporation.
  • Knowledge and experience in direct and indirect taxes (corporate tax, withholding tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, tax incentives, etc.) across APAC region, especially China and Australia. Knowledge of customs valuation is a plus.
  • Experience in managing tax audits/investigations and tax reporting (experience in US tax reporting is a plus).
  • Fluent in English, effective communication skills, hands‑on and meticulous.
  • Ability to read and communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects is preferred.
