Job Description
A. Logistics Management
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with operations, shipping, warehouse teams, freight forwarders/LSP, and local and overseas customers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Report on shipment status and track shipments from origin to final destination, providing timely updates to internal and external customers.
  • Verify all shipping bills and resolve any discrepancies. Review freight costs, transportation rates, and other logistics-related expenses for cost optimization.
  • Update shipment expenses and ensure spending stays within the forecasted budget.
  • Monitor freight forwarder/LSP performance and support improvement initiatives.
B. Warehouse Management
  • Manage year-to-date warehouse used space versus budget space allocated.
  • Monitor inventory levels within the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock counts.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory and warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and measure External Warehouse partner performance.
  • Work with internal stakeholders for aging cargo disposition.
C. Procurement Management
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies with suppliers to optimize product quality, costs and secure on-time delivery performance.
  • Perform key supplier performance review OTD and quality.
  • Support materials and outsourcing contract development and implementation.
  • Focal point for MRP and provisioning methodology analysis.
  • Assist Value Stream to analysis and source for supplier/stockie selling "critical list" items.
  • Source for supplier/stockie to purchase aging/slow moving stocks, by reducing overall inventories.
  • Serve as the point of contact (POC) for collaborating with Central Purchasing to meet financial performance goals and other key performance indicators (KPIs), such as purchasing on-time delivery (OTD), PR to PO lead time, and buyer service level.
D. Inventory Management
  • Oversee daily cycle counting and resolve stock variances.
  • Lead the annual stock-take process and generate stock-take instructions.
  • Review stock accuracy and address any stock variances.
  • Prepare and submit inventory reports to HQ.

Responsible for meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as set by the Manager in accordance with Policy Deployment objectives.
Any other duties as assigned.
