Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to design and coordinate engineering works. Responsibilities include preparing designs and managing submissions to authorities. Candidates should have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 5 years of structural coordination experience. This role is vital for ensuring project specifications are met and activities are carried out per design.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions
• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities
• To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues
• To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings
• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project
• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme
• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
• minimum 5 years structural coordinator experience
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
