About the job Senior Staff Nurse (Procedure / Wound Nurse)

Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent shall be responsible to:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients in the appropriate discipline under the direction of the Nurse Clinician in the individual units.
• Provide high quality patient care in various disciplines by performing clinical procedures that will meet the patients immediate physical and emotional needs.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Nursing or State Registered Nurse Certificate.
• Relevant Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for candidate applying for the Senior Staff Nurse position.
• Post-Graduate Diploma in Wound Management or an equivalent nursing specialty (a Degree in Nursing is optional but advantageous).
• Passionate in the area of clinical wound management for patients and in upskilling fellow nurses in this specialty area.
