Who We Need

You will work alongside the Nursing Leaders to deliver patient-centered and compassionate nursing care to individuals with mental health conditions.

  • Plans, provides and evaluates nursing care according to patient's needs, doctor's orders and hospital policies.
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital and nursing standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients at all times.
  • Keeps Senior Nurse Manager/ Nurse Manager / Doctor informed on patient’s condition, treatment, intervention and outcome.
  • Supervise and mentor new and junior nursing staff, fostering a supportive and effective nursing team.

How to Succeed

  • Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
  • Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Mental Health) preferred.
  • Previous experience in acute care hospital, especially in psychiatric ward is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to listen actively and empathetically
  • Patience and emotional resilience, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
  • Strong team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, agility and perseverance in starting and building a strong culture in performance & engagement.
  • A genuine interest in mental health care and the intention to pursue this specialty with dedication and compassion
  • Comfortable with performing 3-rotating shift.
