Job description

As part of Singapore’s leading women’s and children’s hospital, you will play a key role in supporting children with communication, speech and language needs. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based interventions that empower children to achieve their fullest potential, while supporting parents and caregivers through education and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language and/or communication needs of children.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized and group therapy programs tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Administer, score, and interpret specialized assessments to inform therapy planning.
  • Collaborate closely with paediatricians, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, educators, and social workers to deliver holistic care.
  • Provide caregiver training, coaching, and support in both individual and group settings.
  • Document clinical findings, progress, and recommendations clearly and accurately.
  • Participate in service improvement, clinical audits, and professional development activities to enhance quality of care.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Therapy (or equivalent) from a recognized institution, accredited under the Ministry of Health Allied Health Professions Act.
  • Eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore.
