This position is to assist the Executive Chef to oversee the entire kitchen operations and to ensure consistency in food quality and work performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen operations
  • Assisting in the planning and development of menus and recipes
  • Supervising, training & developing the team, and to ensure consistency in their work performance
  • Ensure quality control and presentation of the food
  • Oversee and ensure proper handling & storage of all food items in accordance with the hygiene standards and sanitation regulations
  • Attend onsite catering events and ensure a successful execution of food items
REQUIREMENTS
  • Well versed in western culinary arts
  • Experience in managing multi-department kitchen
  • Preferably to have certification for Food Hygiene Officer
