A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a Sales and Marketing Lead for their Grid Integration business. This role involves achieving sales targets, developing marketing strategies, and managing customer relationships. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of sales experience in electrical equipment. The opportunity:
Lead the sales and marketing for Grid integration business unit in Singapore and regionally for renewable business, with full ownership of achieving order received and order profitability targets overall. This includes early marketing and lead generation, direct customer sales as well as responsibility for tendering. This role supports regional segment leadership to achieve planned results and budget and is part of the core Grid Integration M&S leadership for the region. Responsible for renewable contracts with external customers. Develops marketing and pre-sales strategies and works closely with marketing, sales, project management and tendering teams to structure proposals/contracts/bid documents. Negotiates contracts that are consistent with business objectives and engages in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes. Ensures fulfilment of contractual obligations from contracting parties. Hitachi Energy''s Grid Integration business unit has delivered more than 4,000 projects over the last 15 years. Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact. We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business'' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors.
