As a member of the Electronics Business Division, your primary responsibilities will include sales planning and execution for key customers, with a focus on maintaining and expanding client relationships. This role will involve understanding and addressing customer challenges to deliver tailored solutions.

The client is one of the largest global glass manufacturing providers based in Japan. The company operates across the Asia-Pacific region and is involved in various businesses related to glass, chemicals, energy, and electronics.

The Electronics Division has been successfully growing its presence in the Semiconductor and Electronics sectors, while also expanding into new industries such as architecture, food, and textiles. The division is further extending its reach across Southeast Asia, Oceania, and South Asia.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will leverage their experience and creativity to develop impactful proposals for existing clients and drive new business opportunities. Additionally, they will mentor junior colleagues, providing guidance on various tasks and supporting their professional growth within the company.

The Job
  • Drive sales and marketing of materials to semiconductor and electronics manufacturers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while overseeing account management teams.
  • Conduct market research and 3C analysis to assess the semiconductor market in Southeast Asia and develop strategic sales initiatives.
  • Prepare and present monthly sales reports, including actual performance, forecasts, and budgets, to the head office.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel within the Southeast Asia region.
  • Take initiative and proactively engage in networking to identify new business opportunities.
The Talent
  • Diploma or Degree in Business or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Highly sales-driven and motivated.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Southeast Asian market.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in or familiarity with Japanese multinational companies.
