THE ROLE

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business sales across assigned territories or sectors. You’ll be selling complex digital financial software solutions—such as core banking systems, digital onboarding, KYC platforms, lending platforms, or wealth management software to C-level decision-makers within new and predominantly digital-first financial institutions.

OPPORTUNITIES
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the financial services industry.
  • Build strong relationships with C-level executives (CIO, CTO, CFO, CDO) and key stakeholders.
  • Understand client business challenges and position our digital solutions to meet their needs.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from lead generation through negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, product, and delivery teams to craft tailored proposals and solutions.
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving technology needs in financial services.
SKILLS
  • You should have significant experience of B2B software sales, with at least 7 years in financial services or fintech.
  • You should have proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • You should have strong knowledge of digital transformation trends in banking, insurance, and capital markets.
  • You should have experience selling SaaS, enterprise software, or cloud-based financial platforms.
  • You should have excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • You should have ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • You should have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong network within the financial services sector is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and sales enablement platforms is preferred.
  • Exposure to RegTech, InsurTech, or Digital Payments markets is preferred.
  • Global or regional sales experience (e.g., APAC) is preferred.
