A leading marine industry firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Sales Coordinator to oversee project operations and customer orders. Responsibilities include coordinating with sales managers and vendors, monitoring customer payments, preparing purchase orders in SAP, and generating sales reports. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely delivery of marine engines according to specifications. This role is critical to supporting project demands and assisting various departments, ensuring successful project execution.

  • Coordinate orders and specification details with Area and Regional Sales Managers.
  • Prepare and generate purchase orders in SAP system for Head Office.
  • Monitor and follow-up on customers' payments.
  • Check for anomalies in payment contracts and provide documentation to the bank.
  • Prepare a monthly sales report and statistics.

  • Keep the Project Manager informed of all operations and report to him.
  • Coordinate orders and specification details with Area and Regional Sales Managers, then prepare and generate purchase orders in SAP system for Head Office.
  • Contracts and contract cost computations must be checked and prepared for approval.
  • Prepare and send customer order confirmations.
  • Prepare and send purchase orders to vendors.
  • Customers' payments must be monitored and followed up on.
  • Monitor and follow-up with Head Office on engine shipment documentation and delivery timeline to guarantee timely delivery per contract specifications.
  • Check for anomalies in L/C payment contracts and provide relevant documentation to the bank for payment.
  • Prepare a monthly sales report, statistics, and project list updates.
  • Assist in developing project timelines and working as a team with the Technical, Parts, and Service Departments to complete projects as assigned.
  • To meet project/order demands, coordinate with Sales, Application/Technical and Parts Department, Workshop, and Technical Services on equipment delivery, product selection, purchasing, and shipping timelines.
  • Plan and anticipate engine inventory, and work with other component/equipment suppliers to guarantee adequate stock to satisfy sales projections.
  • Carry out any additional tasks allocated by the Project Manager, such as conferences and exhibitions.
