The Sales Account Manager acts as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts, overseeing day-to-day sales operations, fostering strong customer relationships, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. This role drives account growth and retention by working closely with the Global Account Manager, internal teams, and customer stakeholders to deliver timely solutions, exceptional service, and commercial results.

The company is a leading contract manufacturer specializing in precision mechanical and mechatronic assemblies for high-tech OEMs in the semiconductor and analytical instrument industries. With comprehensive in-house capabilities, including sheet metal fabrication, frame construction, and complex module assembly in cleanroom environments, the company delivers fully integrated, ready-to-use solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

The Job
  • Manage assigned customer accounts, ensuring timely order fulfillment, smooth sales operations, and responsive support to customer needs.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with key customer contacts at both commercial and technical levels, promoting satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Support the Global Account Manager with strategic initiatives, account development, and data analysis to drive business growth.
  • Prepare and process quotations, RFQs, pricing requests, and sales proposals accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor orders, coordinate delivery schedules, and liaise internally to proactively resolve issues.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, order status, expediting requests, and post-sales support.
  • Address complaints or escalations, collaborating across departments to provide effective solutions.
  • Collect customer feedback and market insights to inform account strategies and support sales objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of account activities, including contacts, orders, proposals, and follow-ups.
  • Assist with sales forecasting, reporting, and business reviews with both customers and internal management.
  • Identify and contribute to new business opportunities within assigned accounts.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
