Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer (SRE) to oversee the supervision teams for civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate must have a Civil and Structural Engineering degree, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including leading supervision teams in similar projects. Proficiency in contract administration with PSSCOC is essential, along with a strong commitment to safety and leadership qualities. Previous LTA project experience would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in supervision of civil works.
• Proficient in contract administration with PSSCOC.
• Past project experience in leading supervision teams is required.

Responsibilities

• Resolve all design and technical issues from construction of Temporary Works and Permanent Works.
• Manage the Supervision team to monitor, supervise, and inspect works as directed.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety and health on site.

Roles & Responsibilities

• SRE shall possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore;
• SRE shall work with the QP(D) / QP(S) to resolve all design and technical issues arising from the construction of Temporary Works and Permanent Works;
• SRE shall be proficient in contract administration with Public Service Sector Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC);
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience of which at least 4 years in the supervision of works similar in nature to the civil works;
• SRE shall have past project experience in leading supervision teams in projects of similar nature. He / she must demonstrate proven commitment to safety and health on site, possess excellent leadership qualities, organisational and inter-personal skills;
• SRE shall manage the Supervision team to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by the client, QP(S), SO and / or the project consultants;
• Prior LTA project experience is an advantage
