Job summary

  • Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and budgets for construction projects.
  • Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
  • Monitor project costs and track variations to ensure the project stays within budget.
  • Conduct site measurements and valuations for interim payments and final accounts.
  • Liaise with contractors, clients, and consultants on cost-related issues.
  • Assist in contract administration, including reviewing contracts and managing claims.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in contract management.
  • Provide advice on cost-effective solutions and potential risks to senior management.
  • Prepare financial reports and cost forecasts for project stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma/ Degree holder in Building / Quantity Surveying / Civil / Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years and above M&E QS work experience in the Construction industry
  • Experience in handing tendering large scale building project would be advantageous
  • Good knowledge of construction sequences and material trends;
  • Independent with excellent problem-solving skills, detailed and a good team player;
  • Salary package commensurate with experience.
