Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle cost comparisons, contract negotiations, and administration. Qualifications

• 3 years and above experience as QS with Main Contractor, preferably on government or HDB BTO projects.
• Familiarity with PSSCOC contracts is required.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison.
• Obtain quotations, liaise, and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Measure quantities and prepare Variation Orders, claims, and accounts.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and analyse cost comparison.

2. Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.

3. Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off.

4. Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.

5. Pre contract administration e.g. tender preparation.

6. All other QS related job.

Requirements

1. 3 yrs and above experience as QS with Main Contractor and preferably relevant to government or HDB BTO project.

2. Familiar with PSSCOC contracts.

3. Degree / Diploma in Building or Quantity Surveyor or its equivalent.

4. Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders.

5. Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines.
