Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to handle cash flow forecasts and manage project variations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Building or Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant construction projects. You will provide cost and financial advice and support throughout project stages, ensuring timely documentation and compliance with contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience.
• Preferably in public (HDB), private residential and mixed development projects.
• Working experiences with Main Contractor would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cash flow forecast and manage project variations.
• Evaluate completed works and prepare claims documentation.
• Attend site meetings and monitor procurement processes.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Preparation of cash flow forecast
• Filing of variations/monitoring of project variations
• Valuing completed works, filing of progress claims and all other necessary contract documents administration works
• Prepare interim valuation and certificate of sub-contractors claims according to work completed and evaluate variation claims
• Monitoring of procurement process
• Attendance of site/technical meetings
• Source, negotiate preparation of awarding letters/agreements/purchase order to sub-contractors/vendors
• EOT claims preparation
• Evaluation of price comparison summary
• To work closely with the Project Team providing cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice during pre-construction, construction and post construction stage.
• Quantity take off, cost estimation, preparation of tender submission with specific deadline
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience. Preferably in public (HDB), private residential and mixed development projects.
• Working experiences with Main Contractor would be an advantage.
• Strong technical background with sound knowledge of pre and post-contract duties
