Job summary

A construction recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimates and tender submissions. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma and/or Degree in Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry and at least 2 years in tendering roles. This position offers a salary between $4600 to $6800, depending on experience, with company transport provided to Tai Seng location.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and prepare cost estimates for tender submissions.
• Lead, guide, and review trade cost comparison sheets.
• Source, assess, and follow up with suppliers for quotations.
• Carry out quantity take-offs for structural and architectural works.
• Review and verify the quantity take-offs prepared by Quantity Surveyors.
• Interpret tender documents to understand the project scope.
• Identify discrepancies in tender drawings and raise queries.
• Ensure all deliverables are accurate and submitted on time.
• Coach and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors.
• Assign tasks and monitor team progress.
• Coordinate to ensure tender submissions are complete.
• Create and maintain tender documentation for future reference.
• Prepare handover documentation for project teams.
• Liaise with consultants to clarify tender requirements.
