Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Senior Psychologist to join our team in Singapore. The Senior Psychologist provides psychological services within a team, applying a wide array of psychometric assessments and interventions for clients. An independent professional with excellent collaborative, leadership and transdisciplinary skills. She/He provides supervision for junior psychologists, facilitates continuing education, participates in research, conducts trainings and collaborates with other professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic psychological services that are caregiver/client-focused to the assigned clientele.
  • Manage, coordinate, and conduct formal and informal psychological assessments independently.
  • Develop clinical formulation and evidence‑based, data‑driven hypotheses for challenging cases.
  • Formulate, implement and evaluate evidence‑based and data‑driven programmes or intervention plans in collaboration with teams.
  • Attend and assist with case discussions, placement meetings, and case conference meetings and chair these meetings when necessary.
  • Empower client and caregiver on methods to enhance health and functioning through self‑management strategies.
  • Collaborate and provide consultation for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., families, professionals and agencies including hospitals and preschools) to promote clients' development and/or functioning.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to develop specialist psychological skills, new clinical services and conduct continuing professional development activities.
  • Supervise and conduct performance reviews for associate psychologists.
  • Provide supervision to entry‑level psychologists, students in Masters and Doctorate programmes and interns.
  • Review models of care and service delivery based on evidence‑based practices, research and sector trends.
  • Conduct research, data collection and analysis.
  • Assist in development of quality improvement projects and implement new psychology services, initiatives and technology based on organisational priorities.
  • Monitor staff adherence to policies and procedures for professional practices.
  • Adhere to professional standards in clinical, legal, ethical, health and safety practices.
  • Work closely with Head of Therapy to meet program KPIs.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by the Program Head / Director.
Requirements
  • Masters in Applied Psychology or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with 2 years of supervisory experience that are approved by SPS.
  • Registered with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).
  • Strong knowledge and experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing interventions to support mental health and well‑being in the workplace.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to mental health in Singapore.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
