Job Title: Proposal Manager – Services & Lifecycle Solutions

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Developing end-to-end customer proposals – Creating complete, accurate proposals for service agreements, lifecycle upgrades, and system extensions, primarily for existing customer environments and installed systems (brownfield projects).
  • Coordinating cross-functional inputs – Working closely with sales, engineering, finance, legal, and customer service to gather scope, pricing, technical, and commercial inputs for brownfield service and upgrade opportunities.
  • Managing commercial costing and approvals – Building and validating pricing models, coordinating supplier quotes, and ensuring timely internal approvals prior to customer submission.
  • Creating compelling proposal content – Writing clear executive summaries, value propositions, and customer‑specific narratives that clearly articulate the value of enhancing, maintaining, or extending existing systems.
  • Ensuring proposal quality and compliance – Reviewing proposals for accuracy, completeness, brand alignment, and adherence to internal processes, commercial standards, and security requirements.
  • Improving proposal effectiveness and win rates – Using bid outcomes and customer feedback to refine messaging, scope language, and proposal turnaround efficiency for lifecycle and installed‑base opportunities.
  • Proven proposal or bid management experience – 5–7 years of experience in proposal management, bid coordination, or sales support within a technical or services environment.
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding – Comfortable managing pricing, costing models, and commercial terms with attention to accuracy and risk.
  • Experience with brownfield or installed‑base projects – Familiarity working with existing systems, legacy environments, or live customer sites, ideally within building or industrial technologies.
  • Clear and persuasive communicator – Able to translate technical assessments and commercial inputs into concise, customer‑ready proposals.
  • Highly organized and deadline‑driven – Skilled at managing multiple proposals simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Collaborative and proactive mindset – Confident partnering with sales, finance, legal, and technical teams to drive proposals forward in complex, ongoing customer environments.
