Job summary

A leading construction engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead projects related to gas, chemical, and water waste systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of engineering experience, strong expertise in engineering calculations, and project management skills. Responsibilities include overseeing design document development, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and mentoring junior engineers. Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to communicate in Mandarin are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering roles related to gas, chemical, or water waste systems.
• Strong expertise in engineering calculations, equipment selection, and detailed design development.
• Must be able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and review engineering calculations for equipment sizing, material selection, and system design.
• Lead the development of detailed design documents, including process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Oversee and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of gas, chemical, and water waste systems.
