Job Overview

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be the key driver in planning, executing, and delivering automation projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage resources, coordinate with cross‑functional teams and clients, and ensure projects meet technical and business objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Plan, execute, and oversee automation projects from kickoff to commissioning and handover.
• Manage project budget, timeline, resources, and risk to ensure successful delivery.
• Act as the main liaison between clients, internal teams, and external vendors.
• Conduct regular project meetings, prepare progress reports, and update stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements.
• Lead, motivate, and support project team members across engineering, software, and field service.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and closing reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related)
• 3–5 years of project engineering/management experience in automation, manufacturing, or related fields
• Proven track record of managing projects from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of project‑management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project‑management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience with automation systems (PLCs, robotics, sensors, vision systems)
• Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Background in industrial automation, robotics integration, or smart manufacturing
• PMP or similar project‑management certification is a plus
• Working location: North!
