Job summary

A leading power plant company in Singapore is looking for an operational support team member. You will assist the Shift Charge Engineer and ensure safety while performing operational tasks. Candidates should have at least a Nitec or GCE 'N' level qualification, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in the Power Plant industry is preferred. Willingness to work in Tuas South and 12-hour rotating shifts is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shift Charge Engineer with operations.
• Perform quality monitoring and operational tasks safely.
• Advise on equipment isolation as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Ensure safety in maintenance or modifications.
• Collect raw material and product samples for testing.
• Follow up on daily plant routine jobs.

Education

• Support the Shift Charge Engineer to meet the contractual, technical, and commercial set-up and operation.
• Perform quality monitoring and operational works according to the safety requirement.
• Advise isolation/ normalization of equipment as required by the Permit-To-Work system.
• Serving as the immediate response to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues.
• Ensuring any maintenance or modification job done in the plant is conducted safely.
• Collecting raw material and product sample for testing.
• Following up on daily plant routine jobs.
