What you’ll achieve

As an Engineering Technologist, you will provide valuable insights to the team on latest semiconductor manufacturing trends as well as PC and connectivity technology transition, thus forming the SoC strategy that will shape the cost structure of our future display products.

You will:

• Conduct market research to identify emerging Display technology trends, solutions, and technology shifts
• Develop insights on global semiconductor manufacturing trends, such as supply/demand and transition of process nodes.
• Drive internal and external alignment of the SoC strategy
• Develop long‑term technical relationships with the vendor base for the core technology or solutions, and maintain a thorough understanding of vendor roadmaps

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10 years experience in semiconductor product planning, semiconductor research, operations or foundry services.
• 10 years’ experience in ASIC Design or Hardware System architecture role for Display/IT products.
• Strong business acumen and understanding in semiconductor manufacturing and design.

Desirable Requirements

• Understanding of embedded system firmware and hardware architecture is a plus.
• Understanding of Display connectivity standard and Electrical Analysis is a plus.
