Job description
The Role

Be a part of the Radiation Oncology team based in our hospitals. The Senior / Physicist will be professionally engaged in the dose measurement, treatment planning and quality assurance program.

Key accountabilities
  • Provide safe and accurate treatment - treatment planning for external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy, and discuss clinical cases with the consultant on treatment plans and techniques
  • Participate in radiotherapy quality assurance programs
  • Perform output measurements, calibrations and quality assurance on relevant machine related to radiotherapy equipment periodically
  • Review daily QA procedure performed by Radiation Therapists
  • Assist in ensuring the PMIs of the radiotherapy equipment are done as per schedule and all test reports of equipment maintenance are reviewed
  • Assist in frontline troubleshooting for all therapy related machines and service engineer coordination
  • Assist in MOH and NEA regulatory compliance projects and department quality/safety projects
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Degree / Master in Medical Physics or equivalent
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience in radiation therapy
