Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Payroll Executive to manage payroll processing for site and head-office employees. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate wage calculations, timely disbursement of salaries, and managing compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in HR or related fields, with 3-6 years of payroll experience, preferably in infrastructure environments. Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel is required.

Job description
  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for site and head-office employees, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, overtime, shift allowances, and project-based incentives.
  • Ensure timely salary disbursement and adherence to statutory compliance requirements.
  • Manage statutory contributions and filings in line with labour laws, including PF, ESI, WPS, PT, Gratuity, and Labour Welfare Fund.
  • Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and preparation of monthly payroll summaries.
  • Manage full and final settlements for separated employees.
  • Address employee payroll queries, disputes, and grievances with professionalism and prompt resolution.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, HR teams, and contractors to validate attendance, manpower deployment, and labour logs.
  • Track and analyse labour attendance, absenteeism, and turnover trends across projects and submit reports to management.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or higher qualification in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably within construction or infrastructure environments will be added advantages.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Preferably experience with large site-based workforces, contractors, and attendance management systems will be added advantages.
  • Proficient in payroll software and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
