Job summary

A healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a candidate to perform admission procedures and provide frontline customer service. Responsibilities include attending to patients' queries, scheduling appointments, and managing payments. The ideal candidate should possess at least a GCE 'N' or 'O' levels and be bilingual to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds. Woodlands Health (WH) provides care for the North‑Western population in Singapore. WH operates a purpose‑built integrated Campus that will open progressively from 2023, including a fully integrated acute and community hospital, specialist outpatient clinics, intermediate and long‑term care facilities, and green healing spaces. WH offers a comprehensive range of acute, sub‑acute, rehabilitative and transitional care services, working closely with partners to deliver seamless care within and beyond our Campus. Since 2016, WH has empowered residents in their health journey through Community Nurse Posts and outreach. In September 2020, WH introduced the GPFirst Programme in the North and opened the first community‑based Urgent Care Centre at Kampung Admiralty, making urgent care more accessible to local residents.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform admission procedure and coordinate with Bed Management Unit for bed booking and reservation.
  • Attend to queries from both internal and external customers.
  • Render assistance to patients when necessary.
  • Collect payment for services rendered and be accountable for payment collected.
  • Provide financial counselling to patients.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling for patients’ follow‑up.
  • Order ward supply items such as stationaries and inventory management.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the ward counters.
Requirements
  • Possess at least a GCE 'N' or 'O' levels, Professional Certificate/NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma.
  • Possess the ability to speak two or more languages/dialects to liaise with dialect‑speaking patients.
  • Computer literate.
  • Possess experience in frontline customer service preferred.
  • Possess the ability to work 2 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
