Overview

Inpatient financial counselling is provided to patients and their next-of-kin, including patient consent and authorization, estimated bills, healthcare financing and assistance schemes, payment options and payment collection.

Responsibilities
  • You will provide inpatient financial counselling to patients and their next-of-kin involving patient consent and authorization, estimated bills, healthcare financing and assistance schemes, payment options and payment collection.
  • You will attend to financial counselling enquiries and follow through timely case closures.
  • Other responsibilities include computation of statistical information, checking of document completeness, maintaining secured document keeping, participating in quality improvement projects, and providing administrative support to the department.
