Job summary

A leading offshore engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to develop the Basis of Design, oversee electrical engineering activities, and ensure compliance with standards for offshore oil and gas projects. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the industry, with at least 5 years on offshore processing projects, and have a strong understanding of electrical codes and standards. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with team members and manage projects effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in electrical design and engineering work within the oil & gas industry.
• At least 5 years specifically in offshore oil & gas processing projects.
• 3-5 years' experience in a senior or lead role managing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop Basis of Design and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Oversee electrical engineering activities and facilitate HAZID/HAZOP.
• Review technical packages and resolve Client/Class review comments.

Skills

Knowledge of offshore and marine electrical codes

Experience in developing electrical single line diagrams

Ability to manage/control technical queries

Collaboration with construction teams

Education

Bachelor’s/master's degree in electrical engineering
