Job summary

A leading medical institution in Singapore is seeking a Nursing Department Manager responsible for ensuring smooth operations and high standards of care. The ideal candidate will have a recognised Nursing Degree and proven management experience. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential, and candidates must be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board. Bilingual abilities and flexibility to work shifts are advantageous. Job Description

Responsible for the smooth and effective operations of her department and to ensure that her department attains the high standards of nursing care and conforms to the quality systems and procedures of the hospital.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing a department - including clinical issues, patients' complaints, manpower planning, budgeting, performance appraisal and staff issues
  • A recognised Nursing Degree
  • Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
  • Possess initiative and integrity, good leadership skills and result-driven
  • Possess good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must be bilingual and PC-literate
  • Able to work shift hours
  • Ability to commence work immediately is an added advantage
