Job summary

A leading quantity surveying consultancy in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will prepare cost plans, tender documents, and report on financial costs while liaising with various stakeholders. A degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields and a minimum of 7 years' experience are required. Qualifications

  • Experience in the building industry is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Cost Plan and Cost Estimates.
  • Preparation of tender document, tender evaluation and analysis.
  • Preparation of letter of award and Contract Documentation.
  • Progress Valuation and Assessment of Variations.
  • Financial Cost Reporting.
  • Liaison with clients, consultants, contractors and sub-contractors.
  • Attendance at meetings.

Job description

One of the world's largest quantity surveying and construction cost consultancies with offices throughout Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Europe, North America, Mexico, China, India, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia is currently looking for an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to meet the demands of our growing business.

The selected candidate will report directly to the Associates/Directors and the job scope shall include the followings:

  • Preparation of Cost Plan and Cost Estimates;
  • Preparation of tender document, tender evaluation and analysis;
  • Preparation of letter of award and Contract Documentation;
  • Progress Valuation, Assessment of Variations and Settlement of Final Account;
  • Financial Cost Reporting;
  • Liaison wth clients, consultants, contractors and sub-contractors;
  • Attendance at meetings; and
  • Perform Other duties as assigned.

It is preferable that the applicant shall meet the following requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Construction Related Discipline;
  • Preferably minimum 7 years of experience with Quantity Surveying consultancy and contracting firm;
  • Preferably experience gained in building industry; and
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
