Job summary

A construction consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced MEP Senior QS to manage cost estimation, tendering, procurement, and contract administration for MEP systems. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience, a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, and proficiency in AUTOCAD and Microsoft Excel. Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying Consultancy Firm or Construction Firm.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contract administration, and cost control.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for MEP components and assist in the tendering process.
• Administer contracts and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Assess the value of completed MEP works and prepare valuations for payment.
• Manage changes to the scope of MEP works and their impact on project costs.
• Identify risks associated with MEP works and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular financial status reports to project management.
• Prepare and finalize comprehensive final accounts for MEP works.
