Job description

The Senior/Medical Social Worker will work closely with the Programme Leads to develop and provide interventions to patients and families who require support regards to treatment adherence.

Job Responsibility
  • Work alongside with programme leads to develop interventions, which includes engaging and working with stakeholders
  • Conduct qualitative interviews and focus group discussions with relevant stakeholders, where applicable
  • Develop, refine and provide pilot social work intervention comprising an assessment framework to facilitate the identification of areas that require support, individualised health and well-being plan as well as intensive case management
  • Assist with the feasibility and evaluation studies
  • Assist in preparing progress and final report of the project and cases
  • Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned by HOD, programme lead and supervisors, as when required
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Social Work or Post graduate Degree in Social work
  • Registered Social worker with the Social Work Accreditation Board (SWAB)
  • At least 3-5 year(s) of direct social work experience practice (especially in working with families with young children)
  • A fast and efficient team player with the ability to multi-task
  • Good Communication and Written skills
