Job description

Responsibilities

• Design standardization for semiconductor equipment.
• Manage project costing and project timelines effectively.
• Conceptualize machine and module designs, ensuring functional and manufacturable solutions.
• Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Concurrent Engineering principles.
• Design pneumatic and hydraulic circuits as required for equipment.
• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and layout drawings.
• Select and size standard components available off-the-shelf.
• Undertake new product development or contribute to sustaining engineering/Continuous Improvement Projects (CIPs).
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency in 3D solid modelling, preferably Pro-E; other acceptable tools include Solid Edge, AutoDesk Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, or Solid Designer.
• Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
