Job description

What you will be doing

• Conduct independent reviews of existing and newly proposed products for RHB Singapore entities (Bank and Asset Management).
• Design, implement, and enhance product risk management processes aligned with RHB SG/RHB Group strategies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure effective monitoring of product‑related developments, identify gaps, and recommend mitigation actions.
• Maintain and update relevant product risk policies, frameworks, and manuals.
• Support the Head of Risk Management in driving value creation initiatives involving niche products.
• Manage the Singapore Product Committee (SPC) meetings to ensure orderly governance and documentation.
• Review and strengthen policies governing the SPC and its secretariat functions.
• Enhance product suitability requirements and methodologies to ensure regulatory and Group policy compliance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for product risks, including investment and derivative products.
• Conduct independent product performance benchmarking and methodology reviews.
• Monitor market conditions and emerging events that may impact product performance, with timely escalation to Senior Management.
• Coordinate with other risk management functions to ensure integrated and effective product risk oversight.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including product teams, operations, finance, and reporting units.
• Undertake ad‑hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Head of Risk Management.
