In this role, you will partner closely with senior leadership to define priorities, lead cross-functional projects, and translate strategic vision into actionable results.

General Responsibilities

As a strategic leader, you will play a key role in shaping our company’s long‑term direction and driving impactful business outcomes across functions and markets. This role demands both analytical depth and executive presence — balancing strategy design with hands‑on delivery.

  • Strategic Planning: Lead the formulation and refinement of the company’s long‑term strategic roadmap in close collaboration with Business Units and Corporate Functions.
  • Business Intelligence: Conduct in‑depth market research, competitor benchmarking, and internal performance reviews to uncover growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Strategic Program Leadership: Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of high‑impact initiatives — from concept through implementation — ensuring measurable outcomes and business alignment.
  • Executive Partnership: Advise senior leadership through data‑driven insights, strategic recommendations, and clear business narratives that influence decision‑making.
  • Cross‑Functional Alignment: Work closely with regional and functional leaders to translate strategy into execution, driving collaboration and accountability across teams.
  • Performance Management: Establish and monitor key success metrics, identify improvement levers, and drive course correction where needed.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of market trends, digital transformation, and emerging technologies to continuously shape the strategic agenda.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a leading strategy consulting firm or corporate strategy function, with exposure to industries such as FMCG, Healthcare, Technology, or Performance Materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to structure complex issues and synthesize insights into clear recommendations.
  • Deep knowledge of strategic management, business transformation, portfolio optimisation, market intelligence, and performance analysis.
  • Proven track record of advising and influencing senior executives, building trusted relationships across multiple levels of leadership.
  • Skilled in strategic storytelling and executive communication, with the ability to translate data and insights into compelling narratives.
  • Demonstrated experience in cross‑functional collaboration and driving alignment across diverse business units and functions.
  • Proficiency in primary and secondary research methodologies, data analytics, and market research tools to support evidence‑based decision‑making.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, matrix environments with high levels of ambiguity and accountability.
Education
  • Degree or professional qualification in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Master's in Finance/Marketing/Economics/Business Administration will be an added advantage
