We are searching for the best talent for Senior Manager, Architect Chapter Lead. This role is based in Singapore and will report to the Global Commercial Architect with a dotted line to the Head of Technology, APAC.

Responsibilities
  • Define and shape architecture strategies across technology, business process, data, security, and solution design for commercial product groups in APAC.
  • Influence product roadmaps, drive reusable and scalable platforms, and help deliver secure, high-performing solutions that enable better customer engagement and business outcomes.
  • Work across product, engineering, and global architecture teams in a collaborative environment where your ideas and leadership create measurable impact.
  • Shape product vision and roadmaps for the commercial product groups. Work across product groups to integrate and align product strategies.
  • Advise Engineering/Implementation teams to ensure that technical implementations are aligned to the architecture design.
  • Promote building reusable and scalable components and ensure platforms are in line with security and data governance frameworks; address non-functional requirements related to performance and maintainability for products.
  • Formulate innovative ideas and solutions on products. Review solutions offerings and assess alternatives.
  • Maintain a pulse on industry developments and architecture to ensure J&J Technology’s architecture addresses future needs.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Technology Owners, Product Groups and Global Architecture chapter teams.
  • Develop or refine architecture frameworks, such as end-to-end solution integration patterns, design patterns for application development.
  • Serve as a solutions architect when needed in project or product contexts.
  • Develop detailed technology specifications in coordination with business analysts.
  • Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, create adequate documentation, and participate in compliance activities.
Qualifications / Requirements

Education:

  • A Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field, with at least 7 years of relevant experience leading a Commercial or IT domain in Systems Integration or Architecture function is required.
Required
  • Strong knowledge of various commercial processes and technologies in a pharmaceutical environment related to customer engagement, digital, analytics and data management.
  • Extensive experience in integration patterns to link multiple solution components and business systems.
  • Ability to lead assessments of proposed solutions and develop recommendations.
  • Proven track record synthesizing leadership and stakeholder inputs into decisions and representing customers/users.
  • Experience with translating business process needs into IT solutions and able to work at an abstract level and continuously pivot to arrive at the highest impact answer for the customer.
  • Ability to relate business priorities to associated technology investments, and the ability to recommend priorities based on the best business value based on multiple stakeholders’ needs.
  • Understanding of the business impact of different solutions and ability to assess impact and communicate the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, timelines, costs and risks.
  • Experience working across multiple levels of an organization.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with product development lifecycles, healthcare domain knowledge, and business operations.
  • Experience in more than one following solution domains: Architecting and implementing Cloud service/serverless solutions across cloud providers (Amazon, Microsoft and Google).
  • Solution integration technologies such as defining API specifications, API/integration solutions (e.g. API Gateway, integration platform / middleware like, integration patterns and frameworks).
  • Salesforce platform, with implementation experience in Lifesciences Cloud, Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, …
  • Digital Experience solution such as Drupal, SiteCore, Jamstack
  • Data and Analytics solution in areas of Data Integration, MDM, Data Governance, Data Processing and Management on platforms such as Streamsets, Data Bricks, Reltio
Other
  • Up to 10% international travel may be required.
