Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to provide design and analysis for water and wastewater treatment projects. The candidate should possess a degree in mechanical engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, with over 10 years of experience, particularly in environmental disciplines, and an advantage for those with expertise in machinery design and fire engineering. This role involves preparing documentation, calculations, and specifications for various projects.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in water and environmental engineering.
• Experience in design of equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge in fire engineering and air-conditioning design is a plus.

Job description

The candidate will provide related mechanical, process, plant equipment/machinery and building services design, analysis and studies. Works are related to domestic and international consultancy, and design & build projects which are relevant to water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, potable and sewer pipelines, firewater, irrigation pipeline and other related environmental disciplines. This will include the preparation of design documentation and drawings, design calculations and report writing, specifications and tender documentation, and other relevant material to meet the project requirement.

The candidate should have a Degree in mechanical discipline, recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, with at least 10 years of relevant experience preferably in water and environmental engineering or infrastructure engineering. Candidates who possess design experience in plant, equipment, machinery and building services, fire engineering and air-conditioning design will have added advantage.
