Job description

Senior M&E Engineer / Electrical Engineer / M&E Manager

Role:

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on the progress of M&E works.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, sample units, testing & commissioning (T&C) sheets, work progress reports, and other M&E-related documents.
• Design equipment such as Air Handling Units (AHUs), Computer Room AHUs, cooling towers, chillers, control systems, fire detection, and suppression systems.
• Manage submission and approval of shop drawings and materials/samples in collaboration with subcontractors and consultants.
• Resolve site and drawing issues by preparing and reviewing technical submissions.
• Maintain and update site mechanical procedures including Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Method of Procedures (MOPs), and Approval Procedures (APs), ensuring compliance with client standards.
• Support the Technical Manager on all M&E matters, including the preparation of M&E master schedules and T&C plans.
• Oversee M&E progress inspections (e.g. R1, Fire Audit), audit documentation, resource management, and coordination from project start to completion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering accredited by the Singapore PE Board (PEB).
• Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Senior Engineer or M&E Manager.
