Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary legal advisor on all employment law matters, working directly with leadership and People & Culture (formerly HR) teams to ensure compliance, foster positive labor relations, and champion best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert counsel on Singaporean employment law, regulations, and labor practices.
  • Coordinate employment law advice across the APAC region and India, including engagement with external law firms and SLAs.
  • Advise business leaders and People & Culture (HR) on workforce strategy, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage internal process and budget for engagement with external law firms.
  • Monitor and track cases across the region and host quarterly meeting reviews with regional People & Culture Heads.
  • Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and employee documentation.
  • Develop and deliver training for management on labor law compliance.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in labor legislation, proactively advising on potential impacts and strategic responses.
  • Manage employment‑related disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions, minimizing risk for the company.
  • Collaborate with global legal teams to implement company‑wide initiatives and harmonize labor practices.
  • Provide strategic advice on handling Labor Union matters such as collective bargaining agreements, contract negotiations, conflict resolution, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in law; postgraduate specialization in Employment Law or Labor Relations highly desirable.
  • Admitted to practice law in Singapore.
  • Minimum of 7 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) focused exclusively on employment law, preferably within a multinational or technology‑driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Singaporean labor legislation, jurisprudence, and regulatory landscape. Additional knowledge of Indian labour legislation could be an asset.
