Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to assess global infrastructure and recommend redundancy designs. You will contribute to hybrid cloud architectures, support disaster recovery strategies, and identify vulnerabilities in both IT and operational technology infrastructure. Collaboration with managed service providers and engineering teams will be key to embed security into projects. This role offers a challenging environment focused on compliance and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Assess global infrastructure for vulnerabilities and recommend redundancy designs.
• Contribute to resilient WAN, LAN, and hybrid cloud architecture.
• Support design and testing of disaster recovery strategies.
• Identify vulnerabilities across IT and OT infrastructure.
• Coordinate with MSPs to implement security controls.
• Support secure configuration baselines and patching strategies.
• Assist in designing segmented OT networks.
• Apply compensating controls for unpatchable systems.
• Work with OT teams for secure remote access.
• Partner with stakeholders to embed security in projects.
• Contribute to Zero Trust maturity roadmap.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess global infrastructure for single points of failure and recommend & support implementation of redundancy & fault-tolerant designs.
• Contribute to resilient WAN, LAN and hybrid cloud architecture aligned with business continuity objectives.
• Support design and testing of back-up, disaster recovery, hybrid active directory, entra and failover strategies.
• Identify vulnerabilities across IT and OT infrastructure and propose mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with MSPs to implement security controls, validate configurations and ensure compliance with CIS Critical Security Controls (CIS18).
• Support secure configuration baselines and patching strategies for servers, endpoints and network devices.
• Assist in designing and implementing segmented OT networks to isolate manufacturing systems from IT threats.
• Apply compensating controls for legacy operating systems and critical production assets that cannot be patched.
• Work with OT teams to ensure secure remote access and vendor connectivity.
• Partner with MSPs, engineering teams and product owners to embed security and resilience into projects.
• Contribute to Zero Trust maturity roadmap across identity, device, network, workloads and data.
