Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a horticultural maintenance specialist responsible for overseeing the maintenance of landscapes, including trees, shrubs, and turf. The role involves designing landscaping projects, supervising contractors, and liaising with authorities. The ideal candidate should have a recognized diploma in horticulture, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and interpersonal skills. This full-time position offers a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in horticulture maintenance.
• Positive and independent individual with good interpersonal and organisation skills.
• Certified Arborist will be an advantage.

Job description

Responsibilities:

1. You will be responsible for the horticultural maintenance of trees, shrubs, turf and landscape sites under the purview of the Town Council. This involves designing and implementing landscaping projects, supervising contractors, liaising with National Parks Board and other relevant authorities/ agencies.

2. You will be involved in attending to feedbacks concerning horticultural matters.

3. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements:

• Recognised diploma in Horticulture / landscaping / recognised qualifications
• Minimum 3 year of relevant experience in horticulture maintenance
• Positive and independent individual with good interpersonal and organisation skills
• Working hours : 5-day
• Certified Arborist will be an advantage
