Job description

We are seeking a suitable finance leader to take full ownership of the Group finance function and serve as a trusted advisor to senior management and the Board. This role is critical in driving financial discipline, regulatory excellence, and strategic decision-making across the organisation.

You will lead and own:

• Group financial reporting, consolidation, budgets, and business performance analysis
• Collaborate with HQ in Japan for all Group Financial Matters
• Ensure accuracy of financials and alignment with IFRS
• Ensure compliance in corporate governance, internal controls and regulatory disclosures
• Financial risk mitigation, audit governance, and financial policy frameworks
• Timely completion of annual audit for the entire group
• Performance management, KPIs, cost control, and margin optimisation
• Finance transformation initiatives, including ERP enhancements and automation

Concurrently, you will play a supporting role in shaping corporate strategy, supporting M&A, restructuring, and business expansion initiatives while ensuring financial integrity and resilience.

You should possess:

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA professional certification
• Corporate governance experience preferably in J‑SOX and with a good understanding of IFRS/SFRS
• 2 years’ experience as an audit manager in a Big 4 audit firm and subsequently, 5 years’ experience in a commercial environment overseeing group consolidation, statutory reporting and managing a team preferably in a listed environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• Leadership and demonstrated ability to drive change management initiatives

• The legal rights to work in Singapore without sponsorship
