Job summary

A leading shipping company in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual to manage and control technical aspects of dry bulk fleet safety management. This role involves compliance oversight, crisis management, and technical analysis to ensure safe operations. Candidates must have at least 7 years of international dry bulk shipping experience as a master or vessel manager of capesize bulkers. Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese or Japanese are required, along with strong analytical and negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in international dry bulk shipping experience.
• Must have worked as a master, chief engineer, or vessel manager for capesize bulkers.
• Proven leadership and management experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage fleet safety and security policies.
• Supervise HSEQ policy implementation.
• Investigate maritime casualty risks.
