Job Title: Senior Financial Controller

This role offers the opportunity to build a career in an innovative environment within the rail infrastructure business, which supplies global markets of rail and road-bound transport with cutting-edge products and solutions in Rail Automation, Rail Electrification, and intermodal mobility, including apps and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis

  • Support monthly closing and forecasting activities for Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.
  • Manage financial reviews for monthly and quarterly forecasts, as well as annual budgets.
  • Analyse KPIs and provide insights to local, regional, and HQ management.
  • Prepare, develop, and maintain controlling presentations and financial reports.
  • Manage large, complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Support the team in risk and opportunity identification.
  • Handle ad-hoc reporting requirements from local, regional, and HQ management.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with various stakeholders across functions at local, regional, and HQ levels.
  • Support local stakeholders in planning, forecasting, and budgeting needs.
  • Translate financial performance expectations for various functions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enable better decision-making.

Process Improvement

  • Take initiative to improve FP&A processes within Singapore and across the region.
  • Drive short-term and long-term digitalization initiatives within the finance function.
  • Develop standardized templates and automated solutions.
  • Support process harmonization efforts.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Finance and Controlling.
  • International work experience.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), and SAP.
  • Proven experience executing and implementing digital transformation initiatives in the commercial domain.
  • Experience with QlikSense and low-code platforms (e.g., KNIME) is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of commercial processes.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills across organizational levels; ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Team player with cross-cultural sensitivity; resilient under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities; creative and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; self-motivated and proactive.
  • Results-driven with keen attention to detail; excellent presentation skills.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English; capable of communicating complex information clearly.
