Job description

We’re looking for a Senior Finance Manager who will play a strategic leadership role in shaping the financial performance of around 200 LEGO branded stores in APAC!

Core Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic business partnering to the Head of APAC branded channels and Country channel heads, offering financial insights and challenge to drive operational and commercial decisions.

  • Present high-impact analytical work and recommendations to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions related to store performance, profitability and portfolio management.

  • Own and drive the financial performance reporting for LEGO Branded stores, ensuring accurate and insightful monthly P&L updates and executive-level reporting.

  • Lead the store & partner financial profitability agenda for the branded channel network, partnering with channel leads and to assess store & partner profitability, advise and lead action plans to improve performance.

  • Coordinate the quarterly store portfolio review process across APAC, including LFL & new store performance vs Business Case.

  • Lead New Stores business case creation, working closely with key account managers on store commercial assumptions and with BU Finance Business Partner on financials.

  • Co-lead real-estate strategy with head of APAC branded channels, advising on stores portfolio management.

  • Oversee and continuously improve store-level reporting tools and data systems, in collaboration with the broader finance team and A&I, to drive automation and data quality.

  • Work with global teams most notably Global Branded Channels Finance Business Partner, helping to share/leverage best practice with other regions supporting our ambition to converge tools/processes/performance across the globe.

Do you have what it takes?
  • A degree is not a prerequisite, but the candidate must be able to demonstrate financial acumen / management accounting proficiency.

  • Strong business partnering experience, with the ability to influence senior commercial and operational stakeholders across markets.

  • Proven ability to translate data into strategic insights that drive decision making and performance improvement.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in preparing executive-level materials and leading discussions.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, able to prioritize effectively and manage cross-functional deliverables.

Nice to have:
  • Analytical mindset, enjoying getting to the route of issues and making improvements

  • Finance experience in a retail/consumer goods business would be very advantageous

  • Comfortable challenging and influencing key partners.

  • Proficient in SAP and PowerPoint

  • Speak and write English at an advanced level

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
