Senior Finance Manager
Position Overview

The Senior Finance Manager will oversee the full spectrum of finance for the Singapore entity, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, taxation, audit, internal control, and daily financial operations. This role offers the opportunity to build up the Singapore finance function, work closely with senior leadership, and grow into a regional finance leadership position.

Key Responsibilities
1. Full-set Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
  • Review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage AR, AP, GL, fixed assets, inventory, and cost accounting.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and tax advisers.
2. Budgeting & Business Performance Analysis
  • Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide business insights.
  • Develop financial models to support management decisions.
3. Internal Control & Process Improvement
  • Establish finance processes and approval frameworks.
  • Improve financial systems and drive process automation.
  • Enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
4. Tax, Audit & Compliance
  • Manage corporate tax and GST filings.
  • Lead annual external audit and internal audit work.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
5. Cash Management & Payment Control
  • Oversee bank balances, payment cycles, and fund movements.
  • Review payments and ensure proper segregation of duties.
  • Maintain financial discipline and safeguard company funds.
6. Management Support
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Prepare board and management reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • 6–10 years of relevant finance experience.
  • Strong accounting foundation with hands‑on capability.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, logistics, or public sector finance will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders (e.g., China companies, suppliers, or customers).
