Job summary

A leading personnel services firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual for a Facilities Engineering role. Responsibilities include managing upgrading projects, leading a maintenance team, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates must have a Diploma in Facility Engineering or Project Management and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of compressed air systems, cleanroom systems, and air conditioning maintenance is desired. This position requires the ability to start on short notice.

Job description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages the plant upgrading/expansion projects to ensure projects on schedule and within budget, complies with regulatory and technical requirements.
  • Manages a team of engineer, technician and contractors to perform preventive maintenance activities, repair/breakdown maintenance, building and ground services to achieve minimum disruptions to operations and meet regulatory requirement and service standard.
  • Monitor utility capacity utilization and plan for future expansion to meet the growing utilities and facility needs.
  • Monitor and drive the department goals that were set.
  • Ensure critical system are built and operated in conformance to regulatory standard, system specification and SOP.
  • Implement lean energy program and drive to improve energy efficiency.
  • Responsible for compliance to environmental and safety procedure and requirement.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum Diploma in either Facility Engineering or Project Management.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Desired Knowledge (1) Compressed Air Systems (2) Cleanroom system (3) Aircon systems or other plant facilities equipment maintenance & (4) Operating knowledge in a manufacturing environment.
  • In charge of 3 buildings in the East area
  • Able to commence work in short notice
