The Senior Executive, Teaching Assignments & Graduation Matters will support the School’s academic operations by overseeing part‑time lecturer (PTL) administration, managing teaching‑related resources, and ensuring smooth delivery of student and programme processes. The role requires strong coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple academic workflows efficiently.
Part‑Time Lecturer Contract & Onboarding Management
Manage end‑to‑end PTL contract and service agreement processes — including preparation, review, approvals, and onboarding (system access, induction, HR/Finance coordination). Maintain accurate and audit‑compliant PTL records.
PTL Budget, Remuneration & Resource Management
Monitor and administer the PTL budget (~S$2M annually), track teaching loads and cost implications, prepare financial updates, and ensure accurate and timely processing of remuneration and Workday approvals.
Student Academic Administration
Process student requests such as Leave of Absence (LOA), withdrawals, medical certificates, and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) credit transfers. Liaise with academic advisors and administrative offices to ensure timely status updates and maintain accurate student records.
Course Exemptions, TA Coordination & Academic Compliance
Coordinate teaching assistant (TA) assignments for PhD students in collaboration with the Postgraduate Office, ensuring equitable workload distribution and maintaining accurate tracking databases.
Perform any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned to support School operations
Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in higher education.
Strong organisational skills, high accuracy, and ability to manage multiple timelines.
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Proficiency with systems such as Workday, student information systems, and MS Office is an advantage.
Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently and in teams.
