Job description

Established in 2009, the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic is a TCM Board-approved teaching clinic under the School of Biological Sciences (SBS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The clinic provides high-quality care through services such as acupuncture, cupping, tuina (adult and paediatric), and herbal medicine. It also plays an important role in training future practitioners through NTU’s Double Degree in Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine, and the newly launched Single Degree in Chinese Medicine.

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Senior Executive to support the NTU Chinese Medicine (TCM) Talent Development and Community Outreach Programmes, generously funded by The Ngee Ann Kongsi. The incumbent will be the key administrative and operational coordinator, overseeing the day-to-day management, implementation, and reporting of all programme components in line with the Gift Agreement.

This includes managing scholarships and bursaries, internships and clinical training, community outreach initiatives, and programme-related financial and logistical processes. The role requires strong organisational skills, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless programme delivery and accurate donor reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Programme Coordination
  • Manage scholarships and bursaries, internships, pre-employment clinical training, and the Clinical Training Programme (CTP).
  • Coordinate community outreach activities with full logistical planning and participation tracking.
  • Support student engagement and ensure programme deliverables are met.
Financial & Resource Management
  • Monitor programme expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Process payments, procurement requests, and assist with fund utilisation forecasts.
Reporting & Donor Stewardship
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for all programme components.
  • Prepare data and financial reports for internal stakeholders and donor reporting.
  • Support the University Advancement Office in preparing impact reports and stewardship materials.
Requirements
  • A degree from a recognised university.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in programme coordination, administration, or project management, preferably in an educational, healthcare, or non-profit environment.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of or interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Singapore’s higher education landscape is an advantage.

The School of Biological Sciences seeks a diverse and inclusive workforce and is committed to equality of opportunity. We welcome applications from all and recruit on the basis of merit, regardless of age, race, gender, religion, marital status and family responsibilities, or disability.
